Hi, I’m Taghan, a mustelid on the internet. I make software and games, write stuff, play music, and do strange technical shenanigans. This is the bit of the internet where I keep my writing.
I like weirdly difficult projects, stuff like reverse engineering, writing integrations, backports, interconnected systems, and simulations. Reinventing the wheel is fun, not the least because it helps me learn why things were made the way they were.
I’ve worked with LLMs since the GPT-3 days. At this point it’s less of a novelty and more of a central tool for my work, both casually and professionally. It’s useful, fallable, bizarre, and best handled with curiosity and caution. You’ll notice, though, that pictures of Taghan are by real artists; I always support human artists <3
Away from the code, I like metaphysical philosophy, music, games, and the outdoors. I’d also go as far as to say I’m a little obsessed with the Ukrainian language and culture!
